Project Snake Charmer slithers on Check out Mustang & Fords magazine’s build journal |

We can think of two ways to tap into the thought process and psyche of an automotive craftsman. |
The first method involves having him strap on some headgear, wiring it with electrodes and running enough volts to jumpstart a Peterbilt (a process which has surely been banned by the Geneva Convention by now). Much easier on your conscience (and your wallet), the second method is more palatable and requires less than 5 bucks worth of tooling … simply head out to your local newsstand and pick up a copy of the current issue of Mustang & Ford magazine. Reading along with editor Mark Houlahan as he builds his Mk3 in the pages of the magazine is akin to working side-by-side with one of the best builders we’ve ever met. |

This month Mark goes through eight pages on body prep and paintwork, including some custom modifications to the wheel wells, hood scoop and underside. Even if you plan to pay someone else to do your body prep and paint, you should go out and grab a copy of the magazine for yourself -it’s definitely worth the investment in learning. If you prefer to save your 5 bucks towards an upgrade on your car, we understand. Even more detailed descriptions and photos of Project Snake Charmer can be found online. |
