3rd Installment of ’33 Build Up in Street Rodder
Grab the Oct issue for the entire story

The third installment of the’33 Hot Rod featured in Street Rodder Magazine, is on sale now. The October issue follows the build of a Factory Five Racing ’33 Hot Rod from the ground up. In this portion of the story the stainless steel side exhaust, steering column and wiring harness are all put in place. Black bucket seats along with all weather black carpet were installed and the interior and dash look sweet with Autometer gauges and custom designed steering wheel supplied by FFR. The finished Hot Rod sports a killer paint job with flames on both sides as well as the hood. The crew chose to go with a removable hardtop that comes as an option with the kit, and 19” front and 20” rear Vortex rims with Goodyear Eagle F1 low profile tires.

Brian Brennan, Editorial Director/Editor, for SR Magazine drove the ’33 at El Toro Air Force Base in California for some performance testing and pulled impressive numbers. The car traveled with SR Magazine to numerous shows this summer. The car was featured at Good Guys Nationals in Columbus Ohio. PPG, was the headlining sponsor and wanted the ’33 Hot Rod in their booth to draw crowds in. The most recent show was the NSRA National in Louisville, KY where the ’33 was accepted among some of the toughest Hot Rod critics.

Our friend Chuck Vranas did an awesome job following a long the crew through out the build and documenting their progress. It is exciting to see a ’33 come to life in the twenty plus photos that compliment the article.  Street Rodder is a first-class publication for Hot Rod enthusiast and gear heads and we highly recommend not only checking out the October issue, but signing up for the entire subscription.

We would like to give a big thanks to Dave P. and his crew Jason, Jeff and Ronnie for their hard work and dedication to building the ’33, also, Chuck Vranas and Street Rodder Magazine for making it possible to share the story with you! Stay tuned for more to come in upcoming issues covering the performance of the ’33 Hot Rod.
