LK Motorsports builds "The Green Rod"

Our friends over at LK Motorsports have done it again! Not only did Langley complete his ’33 Hot Rod in an astonishing three weeks, but he built it with a twist.

Their Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod sports a 400+ hp fuel-injected Ford Racing 4.6L DOHC crate motor, that is powered by Hydrogen. LK Motorsports and Assisted Energy teamed up and decided it was time to jump on the ban wagon and go green. The self contained hydrogen system allows the car to achieve 30 mpg with a carbon footprint smaller than the Prius!

The car appropriately named "The Green Rod" was featured in the Green Section at SEMA which is a new edition to the show this year. The crowd could be caught oohing and awing over the car through out the day. LK Motorsports did an awesome job and we would like to give them a shout out for building yet again another amazing Factory Five Kit.
