AutoFair features Mid-Atlantic FFROGs

2008 Charlotte AutoFair recap

Despite continuous and steady rains over the weekend of the 2008 Charlotte Auto-Fair, attention at the Factory Five booth was not affected in the least.  In fact, a crowd was permanently fixed around the Factory Five cars all weekend.  Customers who braved the weather and brought their cars into the show were also praised and admired by all who stopped by.

A fleet of Factory Five’s was met by the folks at Whitby Motorcars and a strong contingent of Mid-Atlantic FFROGs for the show.  There was something for everyone at the Factory Five/Whitby  display of award winning Roadsters, Coupes, a GTM and two Rolling Chassis.

Jeff Collins and the crew at Whitby Motorcars make-up one of the preeminent Factory Five builders nationwide and you won’t find a more class act anywhere.  Their customers recognize that and support them wholeheartedly.

Some of the most impressive cars at the AutoFair were show-stopping Factory Five customer builds which came out to join us, in spite of an incredible two inches of rain on Saturday and unseasonably cooler temps all weekend.

Joining us along pit row were:

Many more local FFROGs came out to the show to join us and to swap car stories with us.

Overall, (as in years past) we were not disappointed in the quality and quantity of cars at the AutoFair.  Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Vintage rides and modern muscle seemed to cover every square inch of available space at Lowes Motor Speedway - all combining to make this one of the nation’s largest annual automotive events.
