FFR joins Ford at Detroit Autorama

Ford Racing display includes two FFRs

The World of Wheels/Autorama show circuit is a separate world of Hot Rods and custom cars.  When Ford Racing planned their display at the Detroit Autorama, they came to Factory Five to add some excitement to their display, and of course, we were happy to oblige.

We sent them two of our best cars, Molding Manager Nate Johnson’s Orange Glow Mk2 Roadster and our Bondurant-edition Type 65 Coupe.

They were joined by a concept FR100 UPS truck, a custom late-60’s Mustang and a 600+hp GT500, all displayed with the new Ford show truck as a backdrop.

Also on display at the Autorama were three customers showing off their hand-built FFR Roadsters.

David Maksymetz drew crowds with his bright silver Mk3, while Dean Paquette displayed his award-winning, race inspired, blue and white Mk3.

Not too far away in the House of Kolor™ booth, David Huellmantel and his stunning, Gray and Black Mk3 rounded out the Factory Five presence at the event.

All three owners should be proud of the craftsmanship in their cars.  We were blown away by the attention to detail in all of them.
