Factory Five Cars Make Good Showing at Annual Scottsdale Event

Factory Five cars sold well and held their value at the 2010 Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auction.  Overall, the auction reported that the total sales rose 11% over 2009, but gone were some of the really astronomical prices of vintage cars.

In previous years, there have been an average of one or two Factory Five cars at Barrett-Jackson.  Historically, prices on FFR Roadsters have ranged from $77,000 to the low $30,000s.  This year, the hammer dropped on 5 Factory Five Roadsters with prices ranging from $55,000 to $35,000. A pair of original 289 cars sold in the $400,000 range.  A factory-built (turn-key) Unique Motorcars replica sold for $35,700.  FFR customer John C. led the FFR contingent and sold his red Mk3 roadster for $55,000  Click here for link.
