Factory Five and Speed Channel Cruise 
Join Us in Tampa as We Cruise to Bradenton Races, Saturday March 6th
 

 

As some of you may already be aware, we are planning to be in Tampa, Florida on March 6th.  We’re teaming up with the Speed Channel and Two Guys Garage once again for a show that will showcase the Factory Five '33 Hot Rod.   To cap off this one week build, we’re planning a customer cruise event and we hope that you can join us.

 

We start off at the headquarters of Modified Mustangs & Fords Magazine in Tampa where Editor Mark Houlahan (who owns and drives a Factory Five Mk3) will open the doors to some magazine project cars and provide free magazine copies.  The Factory Five truck and show vehicles will be at the rally start point along with the entire tech support crew from Factory Five Racing and FFR President Dave Smith.  The brand new Factory Five Mk4 will make its Southeast Region debut.

 

At 11 A.M., we will cruise en-masse to the big NMRA drag race event in Bradenton about 30 miles south.  Thanks to NMRA Chief Steve Walcott (also owns and drives a Factory Five Mk2), all Factory Five customers who participate in the cruise will receive free entry to the drag races, special parking in a Factory Five customer corral, and full access to the event including vendor midway and grandstands.

 

Kevin and Brian from Two Guys Garage will be driving their newly-built '33 Hot Rod on the cruise and will be racing it at the strip.  This will be a fun chance to meet the guys and get your car on TV.  The event concludes at 5 P.M.
 

 

All Factory Five cars are welcome on the cruise that will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the headquarters of Modified Mustangs & Fords, 9036 Brittany Way, Tampa, FL and finishing up at the Bradenton Motorsports Park, 21000 E State Road 64, Bradenton, FL. 

 

If you’re planning on attending, we would appreciate it if you could complete a registration form below.  All participants will receive a Factory Five t-shirt, route map for the cruise, and goodies from Mustang and Fords Magazine.

 

Registration is limited to the first 100 FFR vehicles.

5. Take exit #15A/Naples onto I-75 S - 28.37 mi
6. Continue on I-75 S - 6.83 mi
7. Take exit #220/Bradenton/Wauchula/Zolfo Springs to Zolfo Spring/Wauchula - 0.32 mi
8. Turn Left on E SR-64 - go 0.19 mi
9. Continue to follow SR-64 E - go 9.24 mi
