FFR Customers Gather to See Two Guys Garage '33
One-Week Build Ends with Cruise from Tampa to Bradenton

Our technicians were greatly missed last week, but their absences will be well worth it when all their wrench turning comes to life in the upcoming months! They worked hard in Tampa, FL building a ’33 Hot Rod for the television series Two Guys Garage on Speed TV.

Andy Cole, who managed the project worked up a sweat under the Florida sun with the other FFR technicians, Brain, Rick and Dan, and had the ‘33 driving in only four days.   The guys did not do all this on their own but had a plethora of help from the show hosts Kevin Byrd and Bryon Fuller, who impressed our tech guys with their building and fabrication skills.

The teamwork didn't stop there as some very talented sponsors stepped up to the plate and offered more than a helping hand!  ISIS installed and supplied the wiring harness, Dart Engines supplied the small block Ford 369 ci 430 HP engine to power the ’33, and many others like Forgeline Wheels and Goodyear Tires stepped up to help.  The crew had the '33 driving in only four days which is quite the accomplishment.

The Saturday before the guys left Tampa, a cruise-in was held where the just completed ’33 debuted to over a hundred customers and friends.  Even the Mk4 made an appearance and gave the Floridians a little taste of the upgrades to the already best selling replica kit.  The cruise-in started at the headquarters of the prominent magazine Modified Mustangs and Fords and ended at the Brandenton Motorsports Park.

It was an impressive sight for all as over fifty Factory Fives drove down the highway to the drag strip and the Two Guys Garage camera crew was able to grab some killer footage while customers passed in their cars, honking the horns... all onlookers stared with envy as the array of Factory Fives sped past them!

This project was a success and we look forward to seeing the three part series on Two Guy Garage of our ’33 build up, when the first segment airs on April 4th.  This will be the first time one of our cars will be fully built on television and we couldn’t have had a better crew.  A huge thank you to everyone involved and we are more than eager to see the finished product when it makes its debut in April!
