The 2009 Good Guys show in Columbus, Ohio turned out to be a massive success for Factory Five! Our cars were sprawled across the fairgrounds in different locations making it difficult to miss our products. The new Factory Five '33 was prominently displayed in Ford Racing’s booth. This is the 2008 SEMA winning silver and blue car. Ford Racing also displayed the FFR '33 owned by Hot Rod Magazine editor Rob Kinnan (this was the five day build car). |

Another Factory Five headlined the PPG booth. PPG is the main event sponsor and selected the Factory Five '33 owned by Street Rodder Magazine editor Brian Brennan to showcase their new paints.
Inside the main exhibition hall, the crew from Factory Five was on hand to answer questions and displayed one of each FFR model along with a few rolling chassis demos. The team was honored with the GoodGuys 2009 Best Indoor Display award. |

The cars weren’t just for viewing pleasure at this year’s GoodGuys show. In classic Factory Five tradition, we came to race. Show organizers had set-up a autocross that attracted some high dollar pro-touring competition. Our guy Jim Schenck (Director of R&D) ran through the autocross with the black Hot Rod Magazine car earning fifth place and beating a slew of really high-end competitive cars. Jim only ran the car three times but everyone watching was BLOWN AWAY seeing a vintage Hot Rod handle like its on rails! As a result, the guys from Air Ride Suspensions have gotten together with our guys to do a FFR Race Rod with some of their parts to be featured at the upcoming NSRA show. |

Factory Five customer John George ran his stock Challenge Car through the traps to earn second place overall! This caused Jim some fits as he has run faster in one of our Hot Rods and he felt that if he ran a few more times he might have secured the overall victory. Jim would get his revenge later in the weekend at Mid-Ohio Raceway where he won first place out of thirteen Challenge Car entries at a regional NASA Challenge Car race. |

Another Factory Five Hot Rod proved their performance ability on the track. Street Roddder Magazine's bright orange '33 coupe ended in the top 10, and impressed the crowds with its killer performance. Both Hot Rods running the autocross ran great times and sent people over to our booth to check out our cars and ask the guys questions. |

Overall the team had a ton of fun in Columbus, the weather was sunny most of the weekend with a brief shower on Saturday, there were over 6,000 cars present and we've put a small gallery together of the event for fun. |
