There are simply too many great side stories to share here, so here are a few of our employees’ favorites:

Tara (Customer Service): This was the 1st year that Bob Loscuito (FFR 002, FFR 2000) brought his car to an open house. When he was registering for the car show he couldn’t remember his FFR # (I remembered that it was something special because we had a pizza party for him, gave him a FFR shirt with his number on it and had him take pictures with Dave & Mark giving him his COO).  He came up to me later in the day and pointed at his shirt and said, “Do you think this is my number?!”

Mike (R&D):  Clint and I staged a few races between the two of us to see who could put the hot dogs in the bun the fastest.  The customers seemed to enjoy it.  I remember one customer saying “You guys will race anything around here won’t you?!”

Jason (R&D):  My fondest memory was early in the morning, the time between 8:45 and 9:00 – the ribbon cutting for the scratch ‘n dent sale.  Everyone was eagerly awaiting the coming of 9:00, leaning over the tape and asking for pricing and parts descriptions.  I cut it at 8:59 because nobody could take it any longer, and there was a flood of people into the scratch ‘n dent sale area.  It was much like slicing the side of an above ground pool that’s full of water.
