Running Car to Debut at SolidWorks 2010 Convention

Factory Five Racing President Dave Smith is a guest speaker at the 2010 SolidWorks World Convention in Anaheim, CA this February 1 - 3.  During that presentation, the Factory Five Racing battery-electric Hot Rod built by Amp=D (that debuted at SEMA 2009) will be driven.

While there has been a ton of alternate powered vehicles and concept cars, this battery-electric Factory Five is a real driving car with tremendous power and reasonable range.  We have seen some killer footage of the car doing massive burnouts and donuts inside the Nor Cal facility where it was built and will show this footage after the SolidWorks Convention.

On Monday, February 1st, Dave and a group of Factory Five owners are road tripping to the Riverside Vintage Museum followed by go-kart racing and dinner.  For more information on this event, click here.
