Worlds of Wheels winning FFROGs

Customers win big at custom & chrome car shows

As evident in the recent honors at the 2007 SEMA show and the HP/Intel Quad-Core Congress, Factory Five owners around the world are scooping up car show awards and accolades of all kinds.  In January alone, three FFROGs took home trophies from different World of Wheels shows.

Regional showcases of the very best and most beautiful personal project cars, trucks and bikes in the area, a World of Wheels show is usually a great place to gain humility about your own garage project.  The products on display are simply some of the best craftsmanship you’ll ever see!

At the Boston World of Wheels show, New Hampshire natives Keith Douglas and Rick LaCourse were victorious with their Factory Fives over a fleet of pristine trailer queens and gleaming chromed steel.

Keith and Rick not only took home the first and second places (respectively) for Hand-built Sportscars, but Keith and his Type 65 Coupe were also awarded the Best Kit Car honors.

Halfway across the country, Kelly Bouma was also getting his Mk1 Roadster (FFR 1888K) ready for the World of Wheels event in downtown Chicago.

By the end of the weekend’s festivities, Kelly was atop the podium, accepting the Best in Class award as well as the Kit Car Award of Excellence.

We congratulate Keith, Rick and Kelly on their awards as well as their spectacular builds!
