The Factory Five '33 Hot Rod has officially joined the venerable Mk3 Roadster at the M-TEC build school. Mott Community College program instructor Mike Glynn and his staff are conducting the sold out three day school for the first time with many more to come. |

It is HUGE news that a new FFR '33 Hot Rod was built by a team of customers and sponsors in only 5 days. While not everyone could take part in the five day build, if you'd like to learn first hand how to build the new '33 Hot Rod, the veteran crew at the Mott College MTEC Build School are ready for you. These guys routinely teach classes where FFR roadsters are built in only three days! Now the guys have officially added the Hot Rod build class to the schools wrench-turning curriculum. |

In addition to adding a Hot Rod Build class, the guys at the build school have been quietly making BIG improvements to the program. Helped by new sponsors, TOYO Tires, KONI Shocks, and increased support from stalwart sponsor Ford Racing, the build school is now using all-new hardware and upgraded tools/equipment. The new 33 Hot Rod classes are being scheduled separately from the successful Mk3 Roadster class, but in the same space and taught by the same instructors.
Students enjoy the new demo parts for all the different FFR suspensions, and the cars are now being built with “Complete kit” parts, leaving donor build parts to a dedicated demo table. FFR engineers recently traveled out to deliver the upgraded parts and demo stands, taking with them our latest all-new Halibrand style replica wheels.
The School also now has a new brochure and website the detail the prices and schedules. For more information, visit their website on-line by clicking here. |
