New Product News 289 USRRC kit and 427 “Legacy Series” Roadsters
Planned for release in 2009 are two new, limited edition “Legacy Series” kits. A limited production run of a 289 USRRC version body style, and an exact digitized version of Dick Smith’s famous #198. |

In honor of our friend Dick Smith we are
planning a total of 198 units of a Legacy Series 427
with special serialized number plates and
certificates.

| Prior to Dick’s death, we had already reached an agreement with him whereby FFR would digitize his legendary car for future roadster bodies in a planned Mk4 version. He had leaked this in a SAAC newsletter shortly before he was killed. Now that Dick is gone, we are changing our plans and releasing a limited edition Dick Smith Tribute model, based on the CAD digitized body and custom hardware specific to Dick’s car. | |

The very first Legacy Series 427 will be donated to the Ohio Cobra Club in support of their efforts to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at the 2010 London Cobra Show. Actual prices have not been set, and more details on both models will be available here later this year. |
