Factory Five Customer Robert W.’s Mk2 Roadster is a Calendar Car!

Factory Fives customers continue to become calendar stars! Customer Robert W. from Royal Oak, MI saw our post on Factory Five customer Mike Wilkinson’s green Factory Five Mk3 Roadster being featured in Snap-On’s 2015 calendar and sent us an e-mail to let us know that his Mk2 Roadster is in the Shimmy Shack’s calendar. The Shimmy Shack is a local eatery in Michigan, and Robert’s Roadster was photographed for the month of May.

Robert purchased this Mk2 Roadster last summer and the only thing that can keep him from driving the car is the winter weather. The car was completed in 2003 and features a warmed-over 302 and T5Z transmission. Robert has been doing a fair amount of work on the car since he purchased it to make his own personal touches to the car.

This Mk2 Roadster was also recently featured in a Winding Roads test video.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
