Barrett-Jackson Day 3 Update

The huge 2019 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale show is well underway, and Factory Fives have a big footprint at this year’s show! The Factory Five cars being auctioned this week are:


Lot 782: Type 65 Coupe going across the block Thursday, January 17.


Lot 814: GTM Supercar going across the block Thursday, January 17.


Lot 850.1 – GTM Supercar going across the block Thursday, January 17.


Lot 1542: Factory Five Roadster going across the block Sunday, January 20.


Lot 1602: Factory Five Barrett-Jackson ’35 Hot Rod Truck going across the block Sunday, January 20.

Ron Everitt’s white and blue Coupe that was subject of the live SEMA build is on the carousel (!) in the big tent. This car is scheduled to be auctioned on Thursday, January 17th.


This beautiful Hot Rod features a Rat’s Glass body. In 2018, Factory Five Racing purchased the molds and tools from Rat’s Glass.


Adam’s Car Wax is using a Factor Five to promote their line of car care products.


SMG Motoring’s killer red supercharged Hot Rod Truck is on display at the Factory Five big rig.


The week long event features a lot more than just auctioning cars!


NFL great Al Toon is having a Factory Five Gen 3 Coupe built. Here he checks out the enlarged 2nd Gen Hot Rod.


Ron’s car, fresh from SEMA, sports all-new parts and less than 2 miles on the odometer. All the miles though were accumulated in the Ford Out Front drift ring at SEMA 2018.


This customer-built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod debuted at SEMA 2018.


The BluePrint Engine LS crate engine was installed this afternoon.


The sheer number of outstanding cars at Barrett-Jackson is mind numbing.


Stacy Jones in front Ryan Valin’s red and black Mk4 Roadster powered by a Blueprint Engines 427 HO in the Factory Five display first thing in the morning.

Charles M. is Show Favorite with ’33 Hot Rod

Charles M. from Lakeland, FL purchased a built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod in February 2026. This Hot Rod was built by a company in California that builds cars for movies and TV shows. It was sold at auction with the proceeds being donated to a charity. The auction winner then sold the car to Charles with 594 miles on it. Charles brought the Hot Rod to the 21st Annual Bay Life Car Show the other week which saw 675 cars attend. Dark Horse Racing Earns Podium at Historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Congratulations to Brion G. and Dark Horse Racing on earning a 2nd place finish with their Factory Five Type 65 Coupe-R in the GT class in the Trans Am Championship this past weekend.
