Factory Five Night at Patriot Place Photos & Recap

The annual Factory Five Cruise Night at Patriot Place with the Mass Cruisers car club sponsored by Bass Pro Shops was a huge success and a ton of fun! All together, 24 Factory Five cars gathered for a beautiful late summer night. Here are some photos and details.

About half of the Factory Five convoy arrived by 5 PM. The rest arrived between 5 and 6 to total about 30 people and 24 cars.
I was on my way up to the show and I passed this really cool Factory Five, and realized that was my car!
Our local FedEx rep John Coe now owns the famous Factory Five flame car featured on PowerNation’s show “Detroit Muscle.”
The show ran from about 4 PM to almost 8 PM. The majority of the cars in the Factory Five corral were Roadsters, and the weather was perfect for a topless car.
It was nice to see a Gen 1 818S (above) as we brought our Gen 2 818C (below past the Half-Mobile).
The Factory Five Mk4 rolling chassis, a.k.a. the Half Mobile, is always popular at shows.
The 818C always look better in real life than it does in print.
Nice to see a Factory Five 289 USRRC car!
Jim and Jesper drove Dave Smith’s #1 Coupe and 20th Anniversary Mk4 Roadster respectively.
The brand-new 2nd Gen ’33 Hot Rod with ’32 Deluxe nose made the show.
Rows of Mk4 Roadsters.
This Type 65 Coupe has seen a lot of action and a lot of great miles.
This Hot Rod was stunning!
Perfect weather for a car show.
Factory Five customer Roland B. talks to Factory Five Director of R&D Jim S. about brakes.
Above & Below: We had some issues with our hydraulic lift on our truck. Jesper and Chris had it fixed in less than an hour.
I recognized this car as the first time I saw it was in 1997 in New Hampshire built by an aircraft guy named Dennis Sawyer.
My wife’s best friend’s husband Tom Winter showed up. He doesn’t own any clothing that doesn’t have an MSU Spartan on it.
Jim has been testing the first set of our 25th Anniversary rims: 2-piece cast wheels which replicate the original Cobra Sunburst rims in bronze.
