30 Years of Legends: Celebrating Factory Five's 30th Anniversary
In January 1995, my brother and I started what would become Factory Five Racing in a small three car garage. Those humble beginnings got a jump start when, then editor of Kit Car Magazine, Steve Temple, would visit our shop in Dartmouth, Massachusetts to test drive and review our prototype in an article titled "Horse Traders". Steve was hugely impressed with the performance and value of our innovative "Single Donor Mustang" based Cobra replica that would soon put Factory Five on the automotive map and start a remarkable journey that has only accelerated over three decades of epic adventures.
In that time we've built and shipped more than 16,000 vehicles kits, set world records, earned countless awards, been featured on more than 30 magazine covers, raised more than 3 million dollars for charities, and our growing company has served as the hub around which customers have built a community unlike ANY other in motorsports! Amazing cars that are built-not-bought in partnership with our customers over 30 years!
We plan on celebrating this milestone throughout the year with our annual Open House, cool limited-edition 30th anniversary merch, and some special announcements coming soon like our Special Edition Mk5 Roadster and Type 65 Coupe! Stay tuned to this page for more details.

The Countdown to Our 30th Anniversary Open House Begins!
Join Us on June 7th, 2025 for our Annual Open House Celebrating Factory Five’s 30th Anniversary!
The event will be held at Factory Five’s headquarters in Wareham, MA from 9 am to 1 pm. The team is working on putting the final details together, but the format will be similar to previous Open Houses including the Car Show & Awards, Factory Tours, Scratch & Dent Sale, merch sales, and plenty of hot dogs.
