2011 Factory Five Open House Sneak Peek

Big Surprises Planned for 14th Annual Open House

We’ve updated our showroom for Open House and added glass doors, flooring, and some very cool new displays.

This year’s Open House will have a mix of old traditions and new surprises. The format will be similar to previous years with car show awards, food, plant tours, huge scratch and dent sale, and music. This year, we will be pulling the wraps off the next Factory Five car, the 818. We will also be revealing the winners of the 818 Design Contest.

Factory Five President Dave Smith will discuss not only the 818, but other new projects the company has working on. This year, we will be joined by a great group of Factory Five suppliers and vendors and the parts sale will be the largest we’ve ever held.

We look forward to seeing you this coming Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm, rain or shine (hopefully shine).

The parts warehouse will be cleared for a HUGE Scratch and Dent/Inventory Sale.

Hmm…Looks like an 818 chassis to me…see the real thing this weekend.

The showroom has undergone a six week construction project.

Our friends at Wilwood will not be here but, we will be displaying all the new Wilwood parts that are beginning to ship. Factory Five’s tech group is easily bribed with free shirts and garage banners.

This year, we will be joined by a great group of vendors including Whitby Motorcars, Tasca Ford, Mark and his crew from Breeze Automotive will be here, Grassroots Motorsports, Ford Racing, Mendeola Transmissions, and Carl’s Collision Center to name a few.

New Shoes, new haircut, new showroom, and a cool new sign (spelled correctly!)…hmm…
Open House must be right around the corner.

The showroom is all-new after six weeks of construction.

Brian is working hard in shipping to get the area ready for visitors.

We’re excited to add the 818 to our stable of cars in the showroom.

Behind the scenes we are busy working on many cars at the same time.

Fred in chassis assembly is busy re-organizing the aluminum racks with new rev parts.
