2014 Street Rodder Road Tour Visits Factory Five

The Street Rodder Magazine Road Tour visited Factory Five Racing this past Monday. The entire front parking lot was filled with hot rods, and Factory Five President Dave Smith gave the cruisers a factory tour.

Road Tour participants started to arrive at Factory Five mid-afternoon Monday. The big caravan arrived around 3:30.

The new Factory Five 289 USRRC Roadster got a lot of attention during the Street Rodder Road Tour’s visit.

So did the new 818S.

Dave Smith tells the tour members how the 818R built in 30 days did at last weekend’s Ultimate Track Car Challenge.

Dave Smith took everyone on a tour of the factory with stops in shipping, welding, molding, and chassis assembly.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges.
