'33 Hot Rods Put a Ford in a Ford!

This year’s SEMA Show will highlight two all-Ford-built Hot Rods at Ford Performance Racing Parts display at “Ford Out Front.” One Factory Five ’33 will highlight Ford’s 5.0L Coyote engine and feature Factory Five’s new independent rear suspension with 2015 Mustang parts. The other Factory Five ’33 sports a Ford EcoBoost 6-cylinder turbo engine and Factory Five’s race-proven 3-link suspension. Both cars include a host of other custom parts, and will be available for customers to check out at “Ford Out Front” throughout the entire SEMA Show.

Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.

Factory Fives Take 1st & 2nd at Chicago World of Wheels!

Factory Five customers Jason H. and Pat S. were awarded 1st and 2nd Place at the World of Wheels Chicago event this year! Jason shared the news on the Cobra Owners of Illinois (COIL) Facebook group page saying, “Great day for the club!” Jason was also presented another award in addition to earning 1st Place with his Mk4 Roadster. “So something crazy happened last night.
