Loren and Shelly Diede own a ’35 Hot Rod Truck named Eleanor with electric power steering, a 3-link rear suspension and powder coated frame. They’ve been winning awards and generating interest at local car shows.
Loren says, “We entered her in a local Father’s Day car show. This is one of the larger local shows sponsored by one of the churches here at Farmington, NM. We took first in class and 1st overall from the local NSRA club. This year we took her to the Northern NM Street Rodder’s car show. This is one of the largest northern NM car shows and we got the local club’s first pick. I built her to travel and cruise cross country, not to show, but oh well, we’ll take the trophies. We love to drive her and are planning a trip this fall from NM to Crater Lake, OR and more. What a great ride!”
