Bass Pro Shops Cruise Weather Looks Great! Let's Roll!

Join us this Thursday, July 10th at the Bass Pro Shops Cruise-In at Patriot Place in Foxboro Stadium. It’s been a tough summer as it seems it has rained almost every Thursday (just like last year!), so we’re excited that tomorrow night is looking like it will be partly cloudy and mid-80 degrees; perfect cruising weather. Factory Five President Dave Smith will be skipping out of work early and heading up in his Mk4 Roadster and he told me that Factory Five customer Gary Cheney will be there with his GTM Supercar which was at last year’s SEMA Show.

The event runs from 4 PM- 8 PM. The Mass Cruisers Car Club has set aside some parking spots for Factory Five cars, so if you are heading up, come and find us.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
