BoldRide.com Reports on FFR Winter Open House and Cars

We’ve received some great press from the car blog website BoldRide.com and writer George Kennedy over the past couple of days. George attended this year’s Winter Open House and has put together a couple of articles covering the edgy Factory Five ’33 race rod built by customer Peter Skogland and the soon-to-be-released 818.

“The image you see above you is one of the more wild versions of the Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod,” writes George. “Designed to combine classic looks with modern power, handling and crafstmanship, it is an amazing blend of old and new.”

While at the Open House, George also got an up close look at the new Project 818R. His article, titled “Factory Five 818: The Future of Project Cars,” George covered the progress on our newest model.

“Basically, you’re using all the really good parts of a WRX,” George wrote. “Those innards are then installed, onto Factory Five’s computer-designed tube frame chassis, by the buyer.”
