Customer Bill L. Graduates Type 65 Coupe #421

Factory Five customer Bill L. from Maine sent us a bunch of photos of his recently completed Type 65 Coupe. Bill spent five years working on the car and included a bunch of personal extras that he added. Bill doesn’t have it registered quite yet, but still plans to bring it to this Saturday’s (June 14th, 9AM to 1PM) Factory Five Open House in Wareham, MA. We look forward to getting a close-up look at all of Bill’s hard work on this beautiful build and no doubt his car will be in the running for a car show trophy.

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror. Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
