Customer Garry B. and Local Factory Five Club Event

Factory Five customer Garry Bopp is part of a local Atlanta-area Factory Five Owner’s Group and sent us these photos from their first outing of the year. The forecast was for rain, which kept attendance down a bit, but the rain held off and the group enjoyed a fun evening at the Tilted Kilt Sports Bar.

Garry’s car is the blue #98 and the red Coupe belongs to customer Ryan W. who was recently profiled and is in the 2012 Factory Five Forum Calendar. About ten other Factory Fives attended the event.

Ryan’s car has excellent attention to detail and he drives the car on the street as well as open track events. The red #40 is powered by a 408 ci aluminum block Windsor with four Weber carbs and the car has been dynoed at 500 HP.

SoCal Factory Five Owners Meet Up for Some Cars & Coffee

It’s officially car show season everywhere, and 12 Factory Fives in SoCal met up at the Cars and Coffee event this past Saturday in San Clemente. Among them were customers Hal C., Tim W., David H., Bud C,, John S., Kevin H., Bart H., Tony V., and Dennis A. Ron V.’s Gen 3 Coupe Shines at Speed & Style Show

Customers Ron and Rochelle V. brought their Factory Five Type 65 Coupe, F5R226DC, to the 6th annual Speed & Style Show in Old Town Alexandria, VA the other weekend, and the car was a big hit with show attendees! “Thanks for making a GREAT product and to those who helped me assemble and paint the car!!!!” wrote Ron. “It has been near 6 years since the parts arrived, and I have well over 7,000 miles on this beautiful machine.
