Customer Harold W. Graduates his Mk4 Build!

Congratulations to customer Harold W. from New Cumberland, PA on graduating his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build! Harold started his build in Fall 2023, and assembled the car over a year and half working on it mostly on weekends.

Harold built his complete kit Mk4 Roadster with a BluePrint Engines 347, 3-link rear suspension with 8.8″ solid axle rear end, stainless steel side exhaust, chrome roll bar, leather seats, carbon fiber dash, ultra-lite gauges, and 17″ Halibrand wheels.

On the interior, Harold used marine vinyl on the center console along with 1/4 foam and also added solid black foam pieces by the door to help prevent wear on the carpet when getting in and out of the car. In the trunk, he used some different material to help break up the black carpet a bit.

Awesome build, Harold! We look forward to hearing about your adventures driving the car as well as going to a lot of shows and events!

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror. Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
