Indianapolis, Indiana – June 21, 2026 — Dark Horse Racing (DHR) and driver-owner Brion “G-Luck” Gluck captured a second-place finish in the GT class during Round 6 of the Trans Am Championship Presented by Pirelli at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Competing during the landmark 60th Anniversary season of Trans Am, Dark Horse Racing brought its #47 Factory Five Type 65 Coupe-R to one of the most historic venues in motorsports and delivered a podium finish against a competitive field of professional teams and drivers.

The Indianapolis weekend represented another milestone for the veteran-owned team, which continues to build momentum during its inaugural Trans Am campaign with the Factory Five Type 65 Coupe platform.

“This podium means a lot to our team,” said Gluck. “Indianapolis Motor Speedway is one of the most iconic racing facilities in the world. To stand on the podium here during the 60th Anniversary season of Trans Am is something we’ll never forget. Our crew worked incredibly hard all weekend, and I’m proud of what we accomplished.”

The event carried special significance as team members and family participated in the traditional visit to the famed Yard of Bricks before competition began. For many racers, touching the bricks represents a lifelong dream and a connection to generations of motorsports history.

Driving the Freedom Coffee, GallantFew, 6XD, Factory Five Racing, and GTE-backed Type 65 Coupe, Gluck and the Dark Horse Racing crew focused on consistency, reliability, and execution throughout the race weekend. The result marked the team’s second podium finish of the 2026 season and continued a strong run following earlier success at Lime Rock Park.

Dark Horse Racing is more than a race team. Founded by Special Operations veteran, professional test pilot, and entrepreneur Brion Gluck, the organization uses motorsports to promote veteran causes and support organizations that serve military veterans and Gold Star families.

The team proudly recognizes the support of Freedom Coffee Company, GallantFew, 6XD Sequential Transmissions, Factory Five Racing, GTE, Driven Racing Oil, Red Horse Performance, and the many partners who make the program possible.

Dark Horse Racing now turns its attention to the next round of the Trans Am Championship Presented by Pirelli as the team continues its pursuit of GT class success throughout the 2026 season.
