Factory Five 289 Headlines New Sherwin Williams Magazine!

Sherwin Williams, the official paint of NASCAR, has launched their line of 17 custom Factory Five colors, and this month, the all-new Sherwin Williams trade magazine features the Factory Five 289 USRCC Replica on its cover!  Inside the magazine is a full description of the 17 colors available at Sherwin Williams body shops and dealers around the U.S.

The colors were developed by the crew at Factory Five and Carl Garcia at Carl’s Collision Center.  Our demo cars in our showroom wear the new Sherwin Williams paints, and the 289 USRRC Replica here sports colors #7 – Vintage Race Blue with color #3 – Vintage White stripes and a fender stripe in color #12 – Venom Yellow.

Charles M. is Show Favorite with ’33 Hot Rod

Charles M. from Lakeland, FL purchased a built Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod in February 2026. This Hot Rod was built by a company in California that builds cars for movies and TV shows. It was sold at auction with the proceeds being donated to a charity. The auction winner then sold the car to Charles with 594 miles on it. Charles brought the Hot Rod to the 21st Annual Bay Life Car Show the other week which saw 675 cars attend. Dark Horse Racing Earns Podium at Historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Congratulations to Brion G. and Dark Horse Racing on earning a 2nd place finish with their Factory Five Type 65 Coupe-R in the GT class in the Trans Am Championship this past weekend.
