Factory Five Customer Brian P.’s Stunning GTM

Factory Five customer Brian P. recently sent us these photos of his Gen 1 GTM which he completed about a year ago. Brian picked up the kit in February 2009 after coming to Factory Five for a tour where he instantly knew he had to build a GTM of his own.

Featuring a 500HP L98 crate motor with cam, a G50-03 5 speed Porsche Transaxle with OS Giken Limited Slip differential, Brian also built his GTM with custom 19″ HRE wheels, Brembo Big Brake kit, power steering with custom controls, full ISIS electronic control system including touch screen control, full stainless steel Kooks exhaust, FFR cold air intake, A/C, and Race Logic traction control.

Some of the other features of the build include shaved door handles with poppers, complete custom leather interior, Escort 9500ci radar detection, Kenwood stereo with remote, custom overhead console, 1/2″ lexan rear window, custom front & rear marker lights, custom rear wing with integrated brake light, custom side scoops, and extensive louvers for cooling. The car is painted Grigio Silverstone Metallic.

“Seeing one of these cars in person really gives you a perspective of what these car are all about,” wrote Brian. “The anticipation and excitement that I would be building this car was one of the most memorable times in my life. 3.5 years later, GTM #248 hits the road and I now have the biggest grin every time I go for drive. Thanks to Factory Five Racing, for creating such a wonderful exotic supercar that made my dream into a reality! See you on the road! Oh, and be prepared for the paparazzi every time you stop for gas. Questions and cameras coming from everywhere…..lots of fun!”

Congratulations on a fantastic build, Brian! We hope to hear more stories of your adventures driving your GTM around town.

Three Generations Embark on a Type 65 Coupe Dream Build

Dave Ryan’s Type 65 Coupe build is moving right along—and it’s become something even bigger along the way.
