Factory Five Customer Jim B. Wins Mayor's Choice Award at Plains, GA Show

It’s always a sign that spring is here as we start to receive e-mails from Factory Five customers with stories from all of the car shows they attend.

This morning, we got an e-mail from Factory Five customer Jim B. reporting that he has completed Hot Rod #251. He attend his first show with the car on April 13 in Plains, GA, and was awarded the Mayor’s Choice Award!

Jim also mentioned that President Jimmy Carter stopped by and took a look at Jim’s Hot Rod during the show.  Congratulations on your car show win and completing a beautiful Hot Rod!

Jim’s Hot Rod wasn’t the first Factory Five to be checked out by a United States President.  Back in 2010, President Obama discussed the Factory Five GTM built by the students at West Philly High.  It was a great accomplishment for the students and it was fun to receive the accolades!
