Factory Five Customer Joe M. Picks-Up 818S

I swear that more things happen in a day here than there is time to write about. Today, Factory Five customer Joe M. picked-up his 818S kit. You may remember Joe built a beautiful GTM that headlined the Boston Cup Car Show. He also built a beautiful Mk2 Roadster some years back.

Joe’s GTM was a regular at this summer’s Bass Pro Shops Cruise-Ins at Patriot Place.

This time, Joe wants to build the car and use it to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He said he’ll have the car done by our summer Open House.

At the same time that Joe was here picking up, we hosted George Kennedy from The Boston Globe Auto Section. It was cool showing him the 818s in the building, and even more cool that he got a chance to see a great customer like Joe pick-up his car.

The Boston Globe’s George Kennedy came by to check out the new 818s which were featured at this year’s SEMA Show.

Lots to be thankful for this season! Huge thanks for your generosity, Joe!
