Factory Five Customer Karen S. Featured on Heels on Wheels

Recently, Factory Five customer Karen Salvaggio sent us a message saying that she recently recorded a segment for the radio program “Heels on Wheels”. The originally aired yesterday, August 28, but it will be rebroadcast tomorrow, 8/30 at 2 PM EST.

Heels On Wheels Radio Program is an internet radio program on the Performance Motorsports Network brought to you by the Scorpion Radio Group. The show is for women, by women focusing on women in motorsports with a few surprises thrown in. You can tune into the show on their website: www.performancemotorsportsnetwork.com

Karen is an active member of the Factory Five community being involved in the Challenge Series, an active member of www.thefactoryfiveforum.com, and a good friend. She also had her Type 65 Coupe on display at last year’s SEMA Show.

Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.

Factory Fives Take 1st & 2nd at Chicago World of Wheels!

Factory Five customers Jason H. and Pat S. were awarded 1st and 2nd Place at the World of Wheels Chicago event this year! Jason shared the news on the Cobra Owners of Illinois (COIL) Facebook group page saying, “Great day for the club!” Jason was also presented another award in addition to earning 1st Place with his Mk4 Roadster. “So something crazy happened last night.
