Factory Five Customer Priest H. Stops In for a Visit

Factory Five customer Priest Hazelwood and his wife stopped by Factory Five yesterday for a visit, and to see the latest projects Factory Five is working on. Priest built an award winning 33’ Hot Rod, then followed that up with an 818 build with his son Tim.

Factory Five President Dave Smith and Director of R&D Jim Schenck talked build details of the 818 (chassis #11!) that Priest and Tim are almost done building. The car is driving, and all the remains is the finished interior. Priest commented on how shockingly quick the 818 is. When their car is completed, we are sure the build will be another winner.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges.
