November 2011 Issue Features FFR Cars at Ultimate Track Car Challenge

The boys at Grassroots Motorsports are the best! We love working with them and we are honored that one of Factory Five’s favorite Challenge Car drivers John George is featured on the cover of this month’s magazine. In all, there were three Factory Five Challenge Cars that competed in this year’s Ultimate Track Car Challenge. The car featured on the cover, is the mule for next year’s Challenge Series (without aero).

If you haven’t gotten your issue in the mail, they should be on newsstands shortly.

Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.

Factory Fives Take 1st & 2nd at Chicago World of Wheels!

Factory Five customers Jason H. and Pat S. were awarded 1st and 2nd Place at the World of Wheels Chicago event this year! Jason shared the news on the Cobra Owners of Illinois (COIL) Facebook group page saying, “Great day for the club!” Jason was also presented another award in addition to earning 1st Place with his Mk4 Roadster. “So something crazy happened last night.
