Factory Five is Top Five at SEMA 2014

The good guys at RodAuthority.com picked the Factory Five ’33 as one of the “SEMA Top 5 Rods of 2014”!  The car that earned this honor debuted in the Ford Racing display and was built by the guys at Ford Racing and Watson Engineering.  This Factory Five is the first ever EcoBoost 6-powered Hot Rod, and the car earned kudos for it’s fit and finish as well as the high degree of engineering under the period-correct skin.

“It may be a bit on the unconventional side, but Ford’s EcoBoost-powered ’33 Factory Five Roadster was truly legit. Parked out front among the company’s other “Ford Out Front” vehicles, we couldn’t get enough of how well the modern engine and classic roadster body style were integrated.” – Lindsey Fisher, Rod Authority

Dave Ryan’s Type 65 Coupe build is moving right along—and it’s become something even bigger along the way.
