Factory Five Writes the Book on Welding

Another cover for the Factory Five crew! This time in a welding and fabrication magazine!

In the May/June 2015 issue of “Practical Welding Magazine” (the official publication of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association International), Factory Five Racing’s welding shop and company are profiled. The article focuses on the people at our company, the technology that we use, and how we achieve quality and repeatability. Big congrats to Nate Johnson (Director of Operations) and Chad Gonzalves (Welding Manager)!

We’ve been on the cover of “Hot Rod Magazine”, we’ve won “Best in Show” awards at SEMA, and great press is something we enjoy earning. This article makes me particularly proud as we are measured so much by our craft, and it is nice to get recognition from the world of welding professionals.

The Bostrom’s Mk4 Shines at First Car Show!

“This is a lifetime dream come true for me!” John exclaims as he shares the news of graduating Mk4 Roadster build and attending his first car show with the completed car earlier this month. John found a partially built Mk4 Roadster for sale back in November 2023. Jim and Cecily T. Graduate Their Mk4 Roadster!

Congratulations to Jim. and Cecily T. from Heathsville, VA on graduating their Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build! They received their kit in April 2024. “I was in no rush since I planned on enjoying the build just as much as cruising in it.,” said Jim. “Goes back to my old drag racing days in the 70’s.
