FFR Customer Pete O. Reports from 2012 Rocky Mountain Auto Show

Factory Five Customers Pete O. and Bob B. attended the 2012 Rocky Mountain Auto Show “Crème de la Chrome” at the Denver Convention Center over the Thanksgiving weekend this year. Pete brought his almost complete Mk3.1 Roadster while Bob put his Mk4 rolling chassis on display which features the new Ford Coyote crate engine.

Pete and Bob are members of the Colorado Mile Hi C-car Club and displayed their cars as part of the Colorado Collector Car Council display during the event. Traffic was high throughout the show as Pete and Bob’s cars really helped give attendees a great look at what the build process of a Factory Five kit car is like.

To cap the event off, Pete’s Mk3.1 Roadster was awarded 2nd place in the “Hand-Built” category! Congratulations to Pete and glad you both had a fun weekend.
