FFR Favorites Karen S. & JoAnn B. Headline SEMA Women's Build Team

Karen Salvaggio is the first person on the left and JoAnn is the second person on the right.

This month’s issue of SEMA Magazine profiles a really great program put together through SEMA whereby sponsor companies and a fantastic team of all women built a stunning Mustang project car that debuted at the 2012 SEMA Show in the Ford Racing booth. Our very own Karen Salvaggio was one of team leaders on the build, as was custom painter JoAnn Bortles of Crazy Horse Custom Paint (JoAnn painted Factory Five President Dave Smith’s project Hot Rod which was featured on MuscleCar TV).

Congratulations Karen and JoAnn on the great project!

Mark also had the chassis galvanised to…

Unfortunately our plow crew was late, and the day dawned with 3-4′ drifts in the back parking lot! We will be at work and at full strength tomorrow. Sorry for any difficulties this may cause. Three Generations Embark on a Type 65 Coupe Dream Build

Dave Ryan’s Type 65 Coupe build is moving right along—and it’s become something even bigger along the way. In collaboration with Factory Five Racing, V6 Media is producing a short film documenting the build process. That curiosity for how things work turned into a lifetime of mechanical enthusiasm, passed down through generations and now culminating in Dave’s Type 65 Coupe build, which is a…
