From the Ground Up Builds a Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Truck with Joey Logano!

Over the past few years, we’ve teamed up with Snap-on Tools and NASCAR Champ Joey Logano for builds of our Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe-R and Mk4-R Challenge Car.

This past Spring, we all met up again at Joey’s shop to work on a ’35 Hot Rod Truck build. Bbut this isn’t your standard build as we installed one of Joey’s 800HP round-winning Ford cup motors for an outrageous amounts of power in a stiff, lightweight and reliable platform. Peter D. Graduates Mk5 Build for Son Scott’s Wedding

Factory Five customer Peter D. from Pfafftown, NC and his son Scott started to put thier Mk5 Roadster plans together early in Fall 2025. The submitted their order in mid-October 2025 with the kit arriving in mid-December.
