Matthew’s evaluation of Nate’s supercharged small block Mk3

Matthew Paquette, age 14, convinced his mom to come and visit Factory Five. After a tour with President Dave Smith, he was given a test drive by planet manager Nate Johnson in a 450 HP supercharged Mk3. We were all impressed with Matthew’s technical and car knowledge…as Nate dropped the hammer on his Roadster, Matthew commented, “Car has a lot of torque.” Right on, Matthew!

Besides being a real car guy, Matthew is one tough kid. He has Cystic Fibrosis and doesn’t let the illness stop him for one second.

Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.

Factory Fives Take 1st & 2nd at Chicago World of Wheels!

Factory Five customers Jason H. and Pat S. were awarded 1st and 2nd Place at the World of Wheels Chicago event this year! Jason shared the news on the Cobra Owners of Illinois (COIL) Facebook group page saying, “Great day for the club!” Jason was also presented another award in addition to earning 1st Place with his Mk4 Roadster. “So something crazy happened last night.
