Hugo and Mateo Vega Complete Father-Son Build

Customer Hugo Vega from Ecuador built his Type 65 Coupe with his son Mateo over the last two years. He says “this was a job done with my son. We spent many nights building the car, and it was a challenge that we had to carry out. For us it has been an amazing experience.”

Hugo and Mateo began their build in the middle of the year 2020. They selected complete kit IRS 2015, 17” Halibrand style wheels/ tire package, 2018 IRS 3.55 center section, 12.88″ front Wilwood brakes, 12.88″ 2015 IRS Wilwood brakes rear, Coyote full length ball headers, Gen3 Coupe Coyote A/C KIT, Coyote engine / TKO trans combo kit.

Great job, father son projects are the best. Father daughter projects are fun too.

Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
