Join Us in Charlotte – 2012 Autofair April 19-22

Big news this year for the Charlotte Autofair! Factory Five Racing’s big show and event truck will again join Jeff Collins and the boys at Whitby Motorcars in the infield of Charlotte Motor Speedway for the 2012 event. This year, in addition to the fun at the show, Jeff has arranged, with Mid-Atlantic customers, to host a cruise-in event at the nearby Quaker Steak and Lube.

Representatives from Factory Five Racing will be on hand to join in the weekend festivities. For more information, visit the Charlotte Autofair website or to sign-up, contact Jeff Collins at Whitby.

Last fall, Quaker Steak and Lube hosted a wonderful event for Horsepower TV and Factory Five customers.

Paul H. and his Mk4 Earn 2nd Place at Spokane Speed!

Customer Paul H. from Spokane, WA took home 2nd Place in the Handbuilt Sports Car Class at this year’s Spokane Speed and Custom Car Show! Paul purchased his Mk4 Roadster (chassis #9847) in June 2020, and built the car with his son after attending the Factory Five Build School at Mott Community College. They built the Mk4 with a 5.0 Coyote from a 2013 F150, Trememc 2650, IRS, 17″ Halibrand wheels, vinyl dash with glovebox, leather seats, and vintage gauges. Mk4 Customers Chris and Wendy D. Visit Factory Five

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror.
