Come check out the 25th Anniversary Factory Five Mk4 Roadster on display this weekend at the Detroit Autorama at the Cobo/TCF Center in the Ford Performance booth. Factory Five’s Dan G. will be a guest of Ford with the 5.2 Aluminator XS-powered Roadster!

We are in the golden age of cars. Ford’s mighy 5.2L crate engine pumps out 580 HP!

The 25th Anniversary Mk4 has a special carbon dash and custom interior.

Factory Five pro-builder Freddie Simmons will also be at the Autorama with his ’35 Hot Rod Truck. This is the largest of the World of Wheels series shows, and features the annual Ridler Award competition, VIP guests, and a ton of great cars. Hope to see you there!

Freddie’s beautiful custom ’35 Hot Rod Truck was featured at SEMA 2019 and will be on display at this year’s Autorama.

It was a pleasure to host Mk4 Chris and Wendy D. from Navarre. FL at Factory Five this week! Chris built a Mk4 Roadster the other year, and was also featured in Coastal Lifestyle Magazine. Westley B. Graduates his Type 65 Coupe Build!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Westley B. from Virginia on graduating his Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe build! Westley received his Coupe kit in late Summer 2024, and said it was a fun journey. Westley installed a Scott Shafiroff 427ci small block Ford in his Type 65 Coupe along with options like hydraulic clutch, IRS, power steering, GPS vintage gauges, low back race vintage race seats, powder coated frame, Wilwood brakes, wipers, A/C-heater, side windows, front and rear sway bars, floormats, seat track, and polished side view mirror. Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
