Customer Mark B. Got Married in a Mk4!

Customer Mark B. turned his Factory Five MK4 Roadster into the ultimate wedding getaway car, blending his build it yourself passion with a rekindled love story. Despite being a Financial Services Executive with no former automotive experience, Mark set out to build his dream car. He ordered a complete kit in 2017 and completed his build in 2020. He says, “I was an office guy with an attention to detail and do it yourself mindset. My son and I attended Mott Community College Build School before deciding to buy a kit. Then we built the Roadster in Powell, OH.  Dave Pohli was my “go to” for questions and help. I retired in January of 2023 and now live in Santa Rosa Beach, FL!” Besides having a solid build story, Mark’s Mk4 is now a documented part of he and his wife, Lisa’s love story. Mark says, “Lisa and I met in high school (Grafton, WI). We went to prom, and she moved away during high school to Mississippi. We lost touch after writing each other for several years, but reconnected on LinkedIn over 30 years later and got married on Oct 7, 2023.” Congratulations to Mark and Lisa on such a special day, and on the coolest wedding getaway car!
