Miguel L. Runs Type 65 Coupe at Iberian Historic Endurance Races

Customers Miguel L. and his father Carlos L. from Portugal participated in the recent Iberian Historic Endurance race held in Jerez de La Frontera, Spain. Miguel and Carlos have been racing their Type 65 Coupe for more than 5 years now, and it is powered by a 450 HP Ford Racing engine with a T5 transmission. Recently, they’ve changed gears in their rear end from 3.73 to 3.08, updated their brakes, and installed a 80-litre FIA tank.

Miguel ran the Coupe in two events at the Iberian Historic Endurance races finishing in 5th in Race 1 and 3rd in race 2. Miguel was racing against drivers in Fords, Porsches, Shelbys, Jaguars, Lotus, Chevys, BMWs, and Alfa Romeos.

Miguel and Carlos will be participating in the Iberian Historic Endurance races in Jarama-Madrid this coming weekend, June 15 and 16th.

I made the call to scrub FFR operations for the day. The drive in wasn’t bad, and most roads are clear.
