Mr. Smith Goes to Washington

Super Cool Trip to the National Mall in D.C.

This is a bit off topic here, but I figured some of you might get a kick out of seeing what our family did for spring vacation. Denise and I took the kids to Washington D.C. on the train (out of Providence). We saw went to The National Archives and saw the great American documents – The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and The Bill of Rights. We also visited the World War II Memorial and The Lincoln Memorial and toured the Air & Space Museum.

I’m embarrassed to admit that it took me this long to visit our nation’s capital, but the trip was a blast and something that every American should have a chance to do.
