Factory Five’s favorite privateer John George and his NASA ST2 National Championship Type 65 Coupe-R is profiled in the December issue of Grassroots Motorsports Magazine. GRM’s Scott Lear writes a detail-filled, tech-heavy 8-page article on John’s NASA-winning car. Powered by a 5.0L Coyote V8 (used F-150 truck motor) making 350 HP, John won 5 of 7 races in NASA’s St2 class in 2017, and also placed 7th in the very competitive Tire Rack “Ultimate Track Car Challenge” posting a fast lap at VIR of 1:58.985!
