Pilot Bobby Rommo’s ’33 Hot Rod

Bobby owns a Gen 1 ’33 Hot Rod with a 6.2L V8, and 6-speed manual, (LS3/T56). The paint color is Watkins Glen Metallic with PPG’s matte clear coat and red powder coated control arms.
“The “old guys” (as they call themselves) at the Baraboo, WI airport convinced me to build one in 2019, and I later returned that favor when I convinced one of them to buy a Factory Five Mk4 Roadster kit a year later. Jim, at 83 years old, built his faster than I could finish mine! Both cars are now pretty much complete (depending on your definition of “complete,” are they ever really done? lol), so now we have two Factory Five cars at our little airport.”
