RideTech-Built Factory Five '33 Hot Rod Running FAST!!! Watch the Video.

Ridetech President Bret Vodlkel has been driving the wheels off their Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod. The guys have taken the car on the Hot Rod Power Tour and are now working the car on road race courses and autocrosses. The car has qualified for the 2012 Optima Challenge, and based on their progress, they should be a contender.

Factory Five Hot Rods have been doing well at race events all year. Earlier this spring Factory Five customers Erik Hansen and Dennis Russell have both won GoodGuys autocrosses in the Factory Five ’33s. Also, just last week, Factory Five customer George Robitaille scored a top 3 finish with his ’33 at the GoodGuys East Coast Nationals.

Donny N. Builds Two Factory Fives

In 2020, customer Donny N. from Georgia started his Factory Five Mk4 Roadster build with his wife and kids. 4 years and 3 months later, they started work on their next Factory Five project, a Type 65 Coupe! “My first build was a MK4 Roadster powered by a Coyote Gen 2 with a TKO600, IRS, and Wilwood brakes,” wrote Donny N. “This time, I built a Type 65 Coupe with a Gen 3 Coyote, T56 transmission, IRS, and Wilwood brakes.” Check out this reel of Donny’s two Factory Five builds with his family.
